Tilt Table

A tilt table study is a test to assess the cause of fainting spells.  The test involves lying quietly on a bed tilted at different angles, anywhere from 0-70 degrees, for a period of time, while various machines monitor your blood pressure, heart rate and rhythm.  The test is performed in the Radiology Department.
