Test and Procedures for diagnosing cardiac disorders include:

Coronary Stenting

Stent Procedure
Stents are lattice-like mesh tubes which are inserted into a coronary artery that’s been opened using angioplasty.  As with angioplasty, the stent is guided to the blockage area through a catheter and then is expanded.

Once in place, the stent acts as a cylindrical support to prop open the artery and prevent it from re-narrowing.  The stent remains in the artery permanently.

Trinity Hospital was among the first hospitals in North Dakota to utilize drug-eluting stents that studies show significantly reduces the rate of re-blockage in the coronary arteries.
