| Individual Fitness Program | Norm Judd, MS, CSCS Coordinator Norm Judd holds a master's degree in Human Performance and Sports Studies from the University of Tennessee, where he also served as an assistance strength and conditioning coach. He has been working in the health and fitness industry since 1985. He formerly served as Fitness Director for a corporate health facility in Lafayette, Indiana. An All-American athlete in track, he is also a 12-time national powerlifting champion, setting six American records. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Russell J. Gust MS, CSCS Russell Gust holds a Master's degree in Exercise Science from the University of North Dakota, where he also served as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for Fighting Sioux Athletics for 3 years. Russell has over 16 years of experience in the world of fitness and performance enhancement. He has assisted people of all fitness levels in reaching their goals, including geriatric, physical rehabilitation, High School, NCAA Division I and II and professional athletes, cancer patients, stroke and MS patients, weekend warriors, and the "average Joe". His areas of specialization include core and balance enhancement, and strength training for weight loss. Russell believes in a comprehensive approach to wellness, including physical activity, nutrition education, and behavior modification strategies. He makes certain that each and every one of his clients achieves some level of improvement in their overall wellness. He is a Certified Level 1 Coach with the United States Association of Track and Field (USATF) and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Some athletes of notoriety that he has worked with are Jim Kleinsasser of the Minnesota Vikings, Jason Blake of the Toronto Maple Leafs, and swimmer Matt Lowe from the University of Texas. He has been a been a speaker at a number of state clinics, and has written several articles on human performance. He is a member of Healthy North Dakota. One of Russell's career goals is to help the state of North Dakota become one of the top 5 most active states in the country.
