Physical reconditioning is provided as a continuum of healthcare following physical therapy, occupational therapy or cardiac rehabilitation. Secondary goals include reducing the severity of therapy side effects, preventing unwanted weight changes, and improving quality of sleep, energy levels, mood, body image, and self-esteem. A long term objective is to help participants develop and maintain their own physical fitness program and to improve quality of life. Financial assistance is available for this programming, thanks to the annual Tough Enough to Wear Pink campaign from the Y's Men's Rodeo, and also from the Bremer Foundation.
