SPORTS MEDICINE :: ATHLETIC TRAINING

The Athletic Trainers at Trinity are allied health professionals certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification. They must possess a minimum of a four-year bachelors degree including extensive training in athletic injury evaluation, treatment and care.

This training includes hands-on training with athletes for a minimum of three years while studying toward their degree in college.

The athletic trainers must also be licensed by the state of North Dakota. Trinity also requires the athletic trainers to be first aid and CPR certified as well as possess specialized training in specific athletic-related emergency protocols.

To inquire on the possibility of contracting Trinity Sports Medicine for a sporting event, please call 857-5286 and ask for the Sports Medicine Coordinator. You may also be able to make an appointment for a free athletic injury assessment at the same number.
